G.I.V.E. Member Event: White Cane Awareness Day with Lions Services
Join Lions Services for a special event! They have partnered with Triple C Brewing Company to create a West Coast Pilsner that highlights White Cane Awareness Day 2024.
As you know, the long white cane is used by people who are blind or visually impaired as a tool for safe and reliable navigation. The white cane is a symbol of the user’s skills and talents, mobility, and independence. It also allows the sighted person to recognize that the user is visually impaired.
We will be hosting a launch party on October 10th at 6 pm and would love for you to attend. Please RSVP here.
Beer will be available for purchase. This hoppy pilsner is brewed and dry hopped with American hops found in a traditional West Coast IPA. In our case Citra, Mosaic, Hallertau Blanc & El Dorado, but with a malt bill of a traditional German Pilsner and fermented cold and clean. Crisp lager meets hoppy IPA.
A percentage of the sales of that beer will go towards NonProfit Lions Services to support people who are blind and visually impaired live an independent life.
It will be a fun event with games, food for purchase at the IZZY food truck and laughter! Family Friendly event.
