If you are a minority or women owned business, you need to be there! The Office of Economic Development and Network Build Grow have partnered to bring together area chambers in an effort to share FREE resources and services offered by the Mecklenburg County, so you can learn about supportive services, business advising, lending, and government contracts/certifications.
This outreach is an official event of the Global Entrepreneurship Week initiative
- Learn about the certification process and the benefits of becoming a certified business. Access tools to register as a vendor with the County, and access best practices to leverage your certification to increase your annual revenue.
- Learn about current County policies to increase the participation of small, minority, and women-owned businesses on County business opportunities.
- Learn about the contracting process and types of opportunities available with the County.
- Meet the Mecklenburg County Office of Economic Development to access FREE supportive services like Business Lending & Credit Coaching, Small Business Consulting, Government Contracting advising, and much more! Staff will be available for Q&A in English and Spanish.
“Grow your Business through Government Contracting – Learn the Benefits of Certifications and County Resources” presented by Mecklenburg County, Business Diversity & Inclusion (BDI) in partnership with Network Build Grow (NBG), Carolinas LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte Area Chamber, Latin American Chamber of Commerce, and Carolina Asian-American Chamber. The event will be in-person at the Valerie C. Woodard Building @ 3205 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208. Park at entrance E (the auditorium).
