For instance, we’ve all heard it said that the quality of your business is in direct correlation to the quality of your relationships.

Take it a bit further…if you’re needing, or wanting, more clients, more sales, and an increase in your bottom line then you need to increase your visibility and nurture and develop even more quality relationships.

We all know that (in theory) but how do we put that into action and who all do we really need in our corner to make it happen?

Here’s what you can do…


Take a close look at who you have around you, where your quality relationships reside, and where you need to have growth in that department.

In a word…how do you grow your COMMUNITY?  Your Board of Supporters?

So, who exactly do you need on your Board of Supporters – and do you have them?


Let’s break it down:

You need Encouragers – those that support you, affirm your decisions and actions, hug you when you need it and celebrate with you whenever you have a ‘win’!

You need Shakers – those that push you, get you moving, drive you to be better and not stop, and hold you accountable.

You need Mentors – those that guide you and provide experience and wisdom, point you towards resources and provide access to needed information.

You need Role Models – those that you admire for their achievements, that are further down the road you are on, or people you want to emulate (both professionally and personally)

You need Connectors & Collaborators – those willing to share resources, experience & knowledge, to do things together and to openly share their networks with you.

But you may be asking, ‘what does that have to do with FONFTSBTWSMS and FOMO?

EVERYTHING!

Without a solid community around you…

Without a foundational board of supporters…even if the silver bullet of success DOES come your way – you might not have the support and guidance to grab it and hang on for the ride.

Look, let’s be honest, building a business is not for the faint of heart…and we can’t all be good at all things.  We need others around us.

We’ve found that networking within a solid Community is the best place to assemble your board of supporters so that you don’t miss out on anything that comes your way!!
