G.I.V.E. Member Submitted Event: 5th Annual Purple Soiree for Healing Vine Harbor

The annual Purple Soiree is a fundraiser to support the organization in purchasing a home for the woman they serve.

Healing Vine Harbor (HVH) serves at risk women (ages 18 and older as well as McKinney Vento girls from Garinger High School) who are not prepared for independent living. Because they are homeless, have aged out of the foster care system, their homes or current housing situation, they are no longer safe or stable. They lack preparation or resources for the future and end up in shelters, jail, or bounced around from place to place.

Healing Vine Harbor offers year-round programs that serve single women in Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas. Their programs include: emergency financial assistance, independent lining skills workshops, mentoring, and basic needs such as clothing and toiletries.

They need donations, volunteers, and corporate sponsors.
